Somebody needs a geography lesson

 

Ah, a sculpture celebrating the birth of a Native American child...
...in Bethlehem.

"The Native American lives everyday in the giving spirit of Christmas???"

Is "Hawthorne" aware that many Native Americans have their own religious beliefs, far removed from anything concerning the birth of Christ, and have for many, many thousands of years?

To put it in perspective, how stupid would this sculpture be if the ad suggested,
 "The European lives everyday in the giving spirit of Christmas,"
and suggested this sculpture
was inspired by "the European art style?"  

Which Native American tribe's art is this "in the style of?"

I'm pretty sure none of the tribes ever worked with "faux beadwork."
